Card Ministry

As we pray for those who are on our sick list, and we also mail cards to those on the sick list on a monthly basis. Time commitment is about 90 minutes each month.

Communion to the Homebound

We serve Communion to Catholics located at West Hickory Haven, Medilodge, Huron Valley Hospital, American House, Riverside Retirement, and the Homebound. Ministers distribute Communion to residents on a regular basis. Ministers can also assist with a monthly Mass and a weekly Rosary. Time commitment varies dependent on the number of Catholic residents but typically requires about 60-90 minutes each visit. Ministers can be scheduled weekly or monthly.

Volunteer

Health Ministry

Health Ministers coordinate the health and wellness offerings of the parish. They assist parishioners to live full abundant lives and promote the health and wellness of the congregation in body, mind, and spirit. Time commitment varies throughout the year. 

We are currently seeking a Coordinator


Meals on Wheels

Ministers deliver meals to the homebound one week each month. A commitment of 90 minutes per week is needed to pick up and deliver the meals to various Milford residents. 

We are currently seeking a Coordinator.

Volunteer

Red Cross Blood Drive

In January and in May, St. Mary hosts a blood drive. Parishioners prepare food for the Red Cross workers, and assist with various activities throughout the day.
