St. Mary, Our Lady of the Snows

Welcome To Our Parish!

"A Journey in Faith to Love and Serve the Lord"

Warm Welcome to Fr. Tomy Kattikanayil!

Fr. Tomy was born in India.  After his secondary school education, he joined the religious Order of the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales. After completing his studies in philosophy, Fr. Tomy went to Tanzania, East Africa and completed his theological studies.  He was ordained as a priest on August 4, 2001.  Fr. Tomy worked as the Parochial Vicar for two years and was then appointed as the administrator of the secondary school run by the MSFS Order. In 2005, he was appointed as the Pastor and served in that parish for five years.  He was later transferred to another parish.  In July 2016, Fr. Tomy arrived in the United States and was appointed as the Parochial Vicar at Sacred Heart Church in Hudson, Michigan in the Diocese of Lansing where he worked for the last five years.  We welcome Fr. Tomy as the new Administrator of St. Mary Church!
A Very Fond Farewell to Fr. John Peter Arul

It is with a heavy heart that we must say good bye to Fr. John Peter after serving St. Mary Church for one year as our Parish Administrator. Thank you, Fr. John Peter for your selfless giving, your deep Catholic faith, and your devotion to our parish.  You carried our parish through a difficult time with compassion and love.  Please know you will be forever in our hearts.  May God continue to bless you as you begin your next mission.

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you
all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you
will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ

Philippians 1:2-6

Catholic Services Appeal 2021

As we face so many challenges in 2021, we are reminded of our call as missionary disciples to act out of the heart that God has formed in us. The CSA raises funds that make our work possible, including supporting more than 100 ministries, programs, and services. This includes helping the hungry and homeless, support for our parishes, priests and seminarians, and promoting the work of the Catholic schools, and so much more.

We ask you to help us Fuel the Mission by supporting the 2021 CSA. Please consider making a gift today.
