Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration is encountering and adoring the Eucharistic Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, before an opened tabernacle------- or exposition of the consecrated host in the Monstrance (vessel for exposing the consecrated host).

It is “JESUS & ME.”

In silence, we reach out to Him and open ourselves to His Graces.  He draws us to Himself and gently transforms us.  He is truly present with us, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

It is our time for silent adoration and spiritual conversation expressing our heartfelt love for His Presence in the most Blessed Sacrament.  Pour out your heart; tell Him of your disappointments, troubles, joys and concerns.  Tell Him of needs for yourself or others.  Cry, if need be---------it brings about healing.  Speak freely to Him, no need to be formal.  Thank Him for your many blessings. Express sorrow for your sins.  Develop a personal relationship with Him as you sit in silence with Him and listen to what He may say to you.  Praying favorite prayers, the rosary or reading Sacred Scripture are also acceptable while sitting in His Presence.   Pray for America and the world.  Please join us on Fridays from 1:00 to 6:00 pm.  If possible, commit to an hour each week.    Please invite your family and friends to encounter Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.  Tell them to bring their problems (written down if necessary) and all their aspirations, and not forget your gratitude.

HE IS WAITING PATIENTLY FOR YOU.  Turn your heart over to the One Who created it.

You will soon experience the effects of your visit-----PEACE, JOY, HOLINESS, HEALING AND NOT TO FORGET--------HIS EVERLASTING LOVE.

If you have questions or would like to commit to an hour each week, please contact Arlene Loehr at 248-685-3933.  May God Bless You!

In the holiness of Your Presence in the Blessed Sacrament, I can only be drawn to Your heart.  Jesus, please take away all of my anxieties and all thoughts of this world.  Heal me, dear Jesus, of all the hurts, of all distortions, of all unknown emotional wounds that I have received and buried deep inside allowing them to fester and spread infection throughout my personality.  Forgive me, my Jesus for the wounds I have inflicted unknowingly on those I have come into contact with while my own emotional wounds caused me to have a distorted view of actual events.  If these offenses are brought to my attention, help me to retain your love, the love that you are pouring into me, so that I may be filled to bursting with it.  Let me be so filled that your love would flood forth from me and saturate everyone I meet.  This is my fervent prayer.  Now I thank you in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

“I used to believe that prayer changes things, but now I know that prayer changes us and we change things.”
