Health Ministry

The mission of the Parish Health Ministry (PHM) is to assist parishioners in their efforts to live full, abundant lives and to promote the health/wellness of the congregation in body, mind, and spirit.

Who We Are

The PHM is a group of parish members who coordinate health and wellness offerings in a variety of ways/activities.  Members include: Health professionals, paraprofessionals, health program students, those employed in any area of health or wellness and those in interested in any area of health or wellness.


What Do We Do?

The Parish Health Ministry group sponsors and coordinates a variety of activities throughout the year, including:

  • Mass of the Anointing
  • Monthly Blood pressure checks
  • Red Cross blood drives
  • Education sessions on topics of interest
  • Weekly articles in Parish bulletin
  • Visits to hospitals/homebound parishioners
  • Auditing and maintenance of Parish first aid kits
  • Provision of first aid at Parish events/gatherings

Future Activities will include:

  • Interactive displays on seasonal health topics
  • Enhanced educational offerings based on congregation needs
